Experimental BOEHM bassoon.

MARZOLI, ANGELO GAËTAN PHILIPPE.

Italian bassoonist at the Opéra in Paris. From 1855 until 1862 he was a consultant to TRIÉBERT. Like TAMPLINI, an other virtuoso of the period, MARZOLI was a keen suporter of the BOEHM bassoon.

All his attempts were ineffective, because his fellow musicians did not appreciate the sound and the price of this instrument.
