Grenser, Heinrich
b.1764-d.1813

Was apprenticed to his uncle Karl Augustin from 1779 until 1786, and took over his workshop . He became renowned for his bassoons, the so-called “ Dresdner Fagotte”. He enlarged the bore and holes, changed the conus and made the instrument a little longer.
